Sir: Am I the only Spectator reader to express appreciation for the unique con- tributions of Posy Simmonds to your pages? Her particular blend of English- ness, atmosphere, humour and pathos seems to me worth a bouquet — or at least a mention on your Contents page for 1 October, in which issue her excellent effort was not listed. Feminists and lovers of fair play, please note.
