The Land Question. By "G. R." (E. Truelove, Strand.)—Thero is
nothing in this pamphlet which is not to be found in Mill's "Political Economy ;" but we entirely agree with " G. R." that abolition of the present legal power of bequeathing land to an unborn person is a measure than which none can be mentioned "morn worthy of combined effort on the part of true friends of the people." We, therefore, welcome a publication of which the almost nominal price will put Mill's argument within the reach a everybody, and wish it an extended circulation. But surely the author expects more "facility for the sale of land" from the Land Transfer Act than it, in fact, gives, or, indeed, is capable of giving.
