The Court of Common Council held a meeting on Monday ;hen

that part of the Report of the Committee on time m Corpo-

ration Refor of the which recommended a reduction of the members of the Cotirt, was brought under discussion. The present number of members is 240, and the Committee proposed that it should be reduced to 200. Mr. 'Wise moved to reduce the number to l0; but this motion was re- jected without a division. The Committee's recommendation was then put to the vote, and rejected by a majority of 51 to 34.
