SIB,—Permit me to correct a slip of the pen in your review of " Fifty Years of the House of Lords." You speak of the House of Lords as "one of the Estates of the Realm." It. compre- hends two of the Estates of the Realm, viz., the Lord Spiritual and the Lords Temporal, the third Estate being the Commons. The crowned head is not " an estate."—I am, Sir, &c.,
