Sm,—In his important article on " Insularity in Education " Sir Fred Clarke says : " So far as I am aware there is not so much as a lecture- ship in any British University devoted to the study of comparative educa- tion." Is he not forgetting the Thomas Wall Readership in Comparative Education at King's College in the University of London of which Mr. Winthrop Young is the present holder?—Yours faithfully,
