In the Court of Queen's Bench, today, Mr. M'Neill was

sentenced to three months imprisonment for assaulting Mr. John Abel Smith. The Judges decided in a full court, on a rule to show cause obtained at the instance of Fletcher, the person charged with forgery of wills, that a Magistrate is not bound to give copies of the depositions against a prisoner when be is remanded, but only on committal.
