The Rhodes Trustiately lost the services of Sir Edward Grigg
as its Secretary. . It is still. however, able to draw upon the band of Lord Milner's pupils or contributors to the Round Table; and has found a new secretary in Mr. Philip Kerr. He became Editor of that admirable quar- terly when Sir Edward joined the Army in 1924. Later he became a prominent member of Mr. Lloyd George's secretariat at 10, Downing Street, and perhaps it was greatly due to Mr. Kerr that that anomalous body caused no more friction than it did. We are certain that he will not only serve well and ably the Trust and Scholars, but also make it, as the founder would wish, an Institution of greater value than ever to the English-speaking races.
