PROLONGING THE WAR.

BIE,—The Government and not the people are prolonging the war. The Government can shorten it, and begin to do so now, by (o) telling the truth about Nenve Chapelle; (b) total prohibition ; (c) abolishing overtime in all factories.—I am, Sir, dtc., A GOVERNMENT CONTRACTOR.
