Colour, with a Descriptive Text, by G. F. Warner. (Longmans and Co.)—This portfolio, printed by order of the Trustees of the Museum, contains specimens of mediteval illumination. In spite of the careful way in which the reproductions are done, the exquisite quality of the originals is sadly lacking. To students this collec- tion will be valuable as affording opportunity of comparing various specimens and periods.
