Sir: In the light of his recent observations on abstruse words in Spectator articles (`demography', 'egregious', Letters, 20 May), we suggest that Mr Donald Froud should cancel his subscription to this wor- thy organ forthwith and transfer his funds to Hello! magazine, whose vocabulary he may find easier to comprehend.
