Mobile carriages
Sir: It has been apparent for some time that British Rail needs a strategy to cope with its telephoning customers. I have been advocating a new separate class of carriage for them called 'working class'. It would be more expensive than first class, which would then revert to use by ladies and gentlemen. Might the new owners adopt this strategy?
