Letters from Batavia mention the arrival there of a part
of the crew of the Frindsbury, South Sea whaler, which was wrecked on a coral reef on the 9th February, in lat. 5 deg. 1 . mm.• S: and long. 159 deg. 19 min. W. Of thirty-five men, three were drowned in quitting the wreck; ten men, with the First Mate, have arrived at Batavia ; and two boats, having on board nineteen men, with the Captain and Second Mate, parted company at sea, and are supposed to have perished.
