Srn,—A recent issue of the Spectator contained an article regarding the German Emperor's manoeuvres towards the United States and his allusion to " Germans in America." It may interest you to know that here is one American whose ancestors four generations back were all Germans, yet the Emperor William's chief claim to my regard lies in the fact that he is Queen Victoria's grandson. Is not that the English point of view ? At all events, I consider myself an Anglo-
