USEFUL STATISTICS.

Mr. Glasgow, in his introductory chapter, deals with the record of public service rendered by the Trust companies, and his second chapter dealing with the definition of an Investment Trust company is sound and useful. Following these chapters the greater part of the work is of a statistical character, dealing with the features and statistical records of individual companies. The book is published by Eyre and Spottiswoode at the rather high price of 50s. net. A. W. K.
