* * * * A GOOD REPORT.
The annual Report of Richard Thomas and Company, issued last week, is an instance in point of the recovery which is taking place in so many of the leading industries of the country. The trading profit for the year was £636,837, against only £474,743 in the previous year, while the net profit was £363,033, against £263,063 a year ago. The Report of one of the Company's subsidiaries, the Grovesend Steel Tinplate Company, was also a good one ; a dividend is recommended on the Ordinary shares of Os. per share, as compared with 4s. 6d. a year ago.
