No. 546: Last words
COMPETITION
'Famous last words' are attributed to many historical figures—e.g. 'I shall hear in Heaven' (Beethoven), 'It has all been very in- teresting' (Lady Mary Wortley Montagu). In the accommodating spirit of the late lamented Voluntary Euthanasia Bill, competitors are in- vited to compose 'last words' suitable, when the elected time arrives, for use by any living celebrity who might have chosen this method of disposing of himself. No limit to the number of entries, but none should exceed fifteen words. Entries, marked 'Competition No. 546,' by 7 April.
