Shakespeare's Comedy of "Twelfth Night." Illustrated by W. Heath Robinson.
(Hodder and Stoughton. 10s. 6d. net.)-1 very handsome volume. Mr. Robinson's illustrations, numbering forty in all, are effective in colouring and design ; the paper and print are of the sumptuous kind ; altogether, the form is worthy of the matter. We must not forget that there is an "argument" of the play, extending to twenty-four pages, the work of Mr. Quiller- Conch. This anticipation of the plot of the drama is according to venerable precedent, and is certainly to be welcomed when it is the work of so skilful a hand as that of Mr. Quillen-Conch.. The text, we should say, is that of the Oxford edition.—We Can give equal praise to the same publishers' Shakespeare's Comedy of "The Tempest," Illustrated by Edmund Dulac (10s. 6d. net).
