Sir: In Hong Kong (the subject of articles on 31 October and 21 November) those who have lived there for some time usually state that the sources of power in the Colony in descending order are: (1) The Jockey Club, (2) Jardine Matheson, and (3) the Governor, Sir Murray Maclehose.
