Young England. (Sunday School Union.)—This "Illustrated Magazine for Young People"
is good of its kind. There is plenty of fiction, but, considering the times, it does not occupy so dis- proportionate a space as one sometimes finds in publications of this kind; not much more than half of the pages are so devoted. The tales come commended by the names of their authors. The other matter is sufficiently varied, and of a readable sort. Young England should hold its own among its competitors. In any case, it may be put with confidence into a young reader's hands.
