by Janus—on a rather scabrous American war-book called The Naked and the Dead may be interested to know how it has been selling. The publishers say that, although they have re- ceived orders for some 68,o3o copies, restrictions of one sort and another have resulted in less than 7,000 being (so far) made available to readers in the United Kingdom. * * * *
