SK—When the Russian shooting-down of the RB47 was announced. the Campaign for Nuclear Disarma- ment attempted to organise picketing at the Ameri- can Embassy from Thursday to Sunday, 'marched' to Brine Norton to hold a comminatory meeting, and an Sunday held a meeting at Hyde Park Corner. Protests against the irresponsible American provoca- tion were made by Stephen Swingler, MP, Dr. Soper, and other less distinguished persons.
