Captain Boyton made his second attempt to cross the Channel
yesterday, entering the sea in his life-preserving suit at Cape Grisnez, near Boulogne, at nine minutes past 8 a.m. on Friday morning, and reaching the mid-channel at about 10.45 a.m. He was close to the English coast at 4.15 p.m., and no doubt arrived successfully about 5 o'clock.
