Where’s my copy?

Sir: I note with interest the minister for Europe’s suggestion (Letters, 26 March) that The Spectator should produce ‘a 28page, tabloid-style version of the main parts of the [EU] treaty’. On Channel 4 News on 8 June and on a December broadcast of Any Questions? last year, Denis MacShane offered to send a copy of the EU constitution to anyone writing to him requesting it. So far, both my requests have gone unacknowledged.

It is ironic that, with all the billions at the disposal of the EU, the minister’s office cannot deliver on this promise and that he should now request that you do his work for him.
