The latest publications of the Folk-Lore Society include a new

edition of the well-known Handbook of Folk-Lore (ga.), revised and enlarged by Charlotte Sophia Borne, which is intended as a guide to travellers and others who aim at eliciting the beliefs and customs of savages or ommtryfolk ; and Vol. VIL of the series of "County Folk-Lore," containing Examples of Printed Folk-Lore concerning Fife, collected by John Ewalt Simpkins, with an appendix of interesting MS. collections made by Dr. David Rorie in the parish of Ansi:ter- derran. Both volumes are issued for the Somety by Messrs. Sidgwick and Jackson.
