The Central Agricultural Society hell a meeting at Willis's Rooms

on Tuesday,—Lord Tankerville in the chair.—and passed resolutions, culling upon the agriculturists throughout the cotintry to exert them- selves for the maintenance of the Corn-lay.

A piece of plate, bought with money subscribed by 50o officers of the Navy, was presented at a public dinner on NVeduesday, in the Crown and Anchor, to Sir Edward C'odri»gton, as a mark of gratitude for his attention to their interests in Parliament.
