In a letter to the Manchester Examiner and Times of
this day week a report was mentioned that a new penny newspaper, of Adullamite principles, was to be edited by one of the editors of the Spectator. The rumour was due to a confusion between two gentlemen of widely different poliiiaal view', though happening. to bear the same name. We need. scarcely say that neither of the editors of the Spectator ient alitinellnect to adapt Affallamitar principles. And were it otherwise, neither of them would be sit all disposed to divert from the Spectator the time and labour requisite for a great literary undertaking of that character.
