BANK OF AUSTRALASIA DIVIDEND.

The latest "dividend announcement by the Bank of Australasia is welcome as indicating further recovery in Australian conditions. The final dividend of 4s. per share is the same as last year's final dividend, but this year It follows upon an interim dividend of 3s. 6d. against 3s., making the total distribution for the year 7} per cent. against 7 per cent. After payment of the dividend the balance to be carried forward will be £175,166 against £169,783 brought in.
