use of the cinema on Sunday was provided by the banning of a lecture by Lord Dawson of Penn last Sunday. It was to have been illustrated by films lasting only a quarter of an hour. Had Lord Dawson proposed to use that inferior and more laborious device, a magic lantern, nothing could have been said to him. What could be more absurd ?
