Sir: The spelling `Liege' was changed to 'Liege' by act of the Prince Regent of Belgium, Prince Charles, in 1945 or 1946. 1 remember seeing the Act published in Le Moniteur Royal. when I was -stationed in Brussels, during the period of the Regency.
