Pause for thought

Sir: I fear that for Sarmila Bose life at War- wick amongst the unrepentant may be stressful ('Enough guilt for everyone', 19 August).

Why not take a long sabbatical and at the same time 'develop a balanced per- spective' on such interesting issues as bonded labour, the caste system, female infanticide, Hindu/Muslim pogroms, Sikh militants, Kashmiri separatists, child labour etc.?
