A ticking star

CHRISTOPHER HOLLIS

`Man from the beginning of science has had an incorrect conception of time. CP0950 is a star that ticks like a clock . . . where Professor Sadeh is probing ahead of Einstein is in the discovery that light gets tired . . . they have been put into orbit by some mysterious planet people not yet known to us. This has led to them being called tom (Little Green Men).' (From a Daily Mail report.) Tick, tock, little star, How I wonder what you are; How is it we got along When the clocks were going wrong?

Now at last it has transpired Time itself is getting tired This is something at his best Even Einstein never guessed.

CP0950— What is it that made you go?

Dons suggest but cannot prove All the stars in orbit move Little Green Men up in space Pushing pulsars round the place.

Wouldn't it be very odd If it proved that they were God?

A sort of celestial Missing Link—

What does the Bishop of Woolwich think?
