• The Liberal and the Ministerial journals of Paris continue
their skirmishes. There seems to be no change in the relative position of the parties of which they are the organs. The poor in France are said to have suffered excessively from the late severe weather. The streets of Paris are overrun with beggars. Two large buildings have been bought by Government for their accommodation; and the King and the Duke of ORLEANS have contributed munificently to their wants.
