We are glad to 'see another annual volume (the thirty-ninth)
of the Antiquary (Elliot Stock, 7s. 6d.) When so many topics of widely varied interest are treated, it is difficult to select any for notice. We may say, however, that Mr. B. Walker's two papers, "The Hundreds of Warwickshire at the Time of the Domesday Survey," set an example which might profitably be followed in other counties. They are illustrated by a map. It is impossible to open this volume without finding something of value in the historical, social, or art region.
