SIR,—Like many others I am appalled at the state of the slums in Westminster and write to ask if there is anything the " Man in the Street," such as I am, can do to help. If such things as disclosed by your article are possible in the City of Westminster, what may there not be in poorer districts ? —I am, Sir, &c.,
