Food in Relation to Health. By Mrs. C. W. Earle
and Mrs. Hugh Bryan. (Simpkin, Marshall, and Co. 2d.)—Though the authors of this excellent little pamphlet chiefly deal with food for adults, they have also some most pertinent remarks as to the feeding of infants. All who are interested in the problems con- meted with vegetarianism should read the subject of this notice, for they cannot fail to find it most useful. The recipes are eminently practical, and show clearly how easy it is to use a non- meat diet. Such a diet is certainly cheaper, and also certainly snore healthful, than the meat diet when that is carried to excess.
