A New Competition

THE Editor offers a prize of five guineas for the best account of one or more " narrow shaves " in the experience of com- petitors or their friends. Stories should be true, although they need not necessarily have happened to the writer. They should not be longer than 700 words in length. If a stamped and addressed envelope is enclosed entries will be returned after the close of the competition on Friday, May 3rd.
