The manufacturing districts of Lancashire and Cheshire continue tranquil. It
is pleasant to mention, that in Manchester, Liverpool, Glasgow, and other places, there are perceptible indications of an im- provement in trade. The demand for manufactured goods has improved, and hopes are entertained that the depression has passed its extreme point. The Spitalfields Weavers continue as turbulent as ever; and have now added not and bloodshed to their other lawless proceedings.
