Twelve Arietts and Duets. by FREDERICK Pacer.

These compositions, for the most part, are framed out of the current Italian musical phraseology of the day ; the principal novelty being the words to svhieli they are adapted. The Duets move smoothly and lovingly in thirds nail sixes, unruffled by more intricate combinations. Sonic of the pieces are written to the patois of Naples, and, therefore, to those who are ignorant of it, unintelligible and unpronounceable:

" nutreim to vela le nionatie

Camo pe N opele ■la vtiI Gut e nun glti eltiane eatla lo mare," &e.

"La Preghier a (run Bandito " hums more variety than any of the other pieces, and would be found effective in performance.
