By T. H. SEVERN'. We wish to warn Mr. SEVERN against the weakness, too common among young composers, of desiring to print every thing they write. This song is sad stuff : in the compass of four pages we have the same phrase repeated ten times, and a poor unmeaning phrase it is. The music is, certainly, in excellent keeping with the words, which are strongly perfumed with the essence of mawkish sentimentality.
