The Position of the Laity. (S.P.C.K. 6d.)—This pamphlet con- -

tains the Report of a joint Committee of the Convocation of Canterbury as to the position of the laity, considered historically and as a matter of right Church government. This is not an occasion for reviewing the conclusions at which it arrived. Whether they can be regarded as final and complete may be 'left undecided, but it is quite clear that they extend to a very substantial measure of reform. The pamphlet is one which should be widely read, we may say studied.
