Sir: I'd like to thank Julie Burchill for her kind invitation to come and visit her in Brighton so she can give me 'a few tips on how to get sex off youngsters' (Diary, 24 January).

However, the prospect of joining Julie in her 'swimming pool', along with her 25- year-old lover, Daniel Raven, and her 'big- breasted, blonde friend', isn't all that tempting. Even Bill Clinton would hesitate before plunging into that particular pond. Toby Young
