Lord Sandon was returned for Lichfield yesterday, without opposition.
The Chancellor of the Exchequer has resolved on a further investiga- tion into the public advantage of continuing the Scotch Fisheries Board ; and has selected Mr. Bonamy Price and Mr. St. John, the latter an of- ficer of the Customs, to conduct the inquiries, and to report on the whole question. Those gentlemen will proceed to Scotland forthwith on this
