responsibility for the foolish and dangerous utterance of the General Secretary of the Police Union, who ventured; we hope without authority, to apologize in the Press of Wednesday to .the recent rioters at the House of Commons for having " chme into conflict with the demonstration of disabled and discharged sailors and soldiers who were demanding what is their undeatted right—work."
