We do not want to exaggerate the importance of the
little incident, but It is clearly one of very good omen. It shows how wise is the instinct of the Royal Family as a whole in fixing upon the housing problem as the essential cause of unrest, and making it their special study. The nation realizes that, just as in the case of the King and the Queen, there is• no shadow of popularity-hunting in the Prince's action, but only the sincere desire to do a vital public duty.
