Nursery Alice, by " Lewis Carroll " (Macmillan)—it bears, we see, the date of 1889—but we may anyhow commend it as a very pretty book. It is meant, the author tells us, for the special benefit of children from "0 to five." The pictures are very funny, and admirably coloured.
