Elite interviews

Sir: We have been asked by Methuen publishers to write a book on the practice of interviewing people eminent in their respective fields ('elite' oral history). This book will be the first of its kind in Britain to discuss a major and rapidly expanding area of scholarly research.

We would be very grateful indeed to hear from anybody with experience either of interviewing elite figures as part of their own research or of establishing an archive containing interviews with such people.
