Cloche Cultivation

With the price of a heartless lettuce as much as nincpcnce at the moment, I am surprised that the average gardener doesn't go in for cloche cultivation much more than he does, Properly managed cloches are an investment that will quickly repay the outlay. One has only to look into the plots of the market-gardener to see that he at least appreciates the fact, and often covers many rows with them.
