A Books of Sundry Draughts. (The Leadenhall Press.)—This is a
facsimile of a text-book published in 1615, which is described in the title-page as " principally serving for glasiers ; and not impertinent for plasterers, and gardiners, besides sundry other professions." There are a few pages of technical information, and " receipts for the true making of colours for glasse," but the greater part of the book is taken up with full-page geometrical patterns. Some of these are remarkably good, and they all have a certain style and distinction which is rarely to be found in modern work of the sort.
