Educating Africans
SIR,—A year ago you were good enough to publish a letter about the work of the Kay King-Hall Memorial Fund, which helps with the education of African children in Commonwealth territories, whose parents cannot find the modest fees of L15-£20 per annum. I reported we were then helping fifty children in nine territories. Your readers may be glad to know that we are now assisting 255 children in ten territories and hope to help 300 or more in 1966. All cases are submitted to us through the education authorities. Those interested in this work are requested to write to me for details. Donors of £15 or more can be linked to a particular child.
