There has been at least one useful lesson from the Beatles' world tour. We now know from the hysterical reception that they received almost everywhere that the youth of America, Scan- dinavia, Holland and Australia are just as deca- dent as our own. Or it is possible that they are neither much better nor much worse than we were when young?
